We all love ukulele covers, bought a ukulele now what ahaha. Here are simple ukulele chords to start off. Off course you have to practice strumming but your other hand won't be as natural finessing into different awkward positions, especially if you're new into playing music so here are a few chords.
These three chords are the basics as I started. I'm not saying I'm pro now but start with these, then you'll get the hang off changing from one chord to another smoothly.
A very simple song to make goes like this

From one strum to another, with different styles of strums, you can make different mood tunes.
Strum twice on each chord and you'll make a happy go lucky song. Whereas if you strum slowly 4 times on each chord, you'll produce a nostalgic movie-esque tune.
