MALAYSIAN STUDENT WEARS RM50K LOUIS VUITTON SUPREME BACKPACK TO SCHOOL

August 14, 2017

Streetwear brand Supreme had recently collaborated with high fashion brand Louis Vuitton on a new collection.

Just a gist into the collection, they released a wallet that is literally reselling now for $1400 and a hoodie for $10,000. Pretty expensive to cough up RM50,000 for a jacket and a bloody wallet. For Louis Vuitton, these prices can be considered lower than standard but generally kids are buying these.

Now, one of the coveted pieces in the collection is... the backpack. The godly backpack. This bag, is going on ebay for around $11,000 equivalent to RM48,000. Have a look at what is happening in Pulau Pinang ( Penang )

I have no idea if it's true or a fake but the thought of letting your child bring a RM50,000 backpack to school is just beyond me, let alone him being an 8 year old or something. A lot of people have said that it is fake, logical at the very least.

The thing i'm worried about is, some ignorant person may see this as an opportunity to do bad things to the kid, steal his bag or perform unexplainable desires or even threats to the parents. The flashy red LV bag may be fake, but things could happen and I hope the parents think or have thought about it by now.

If it is real, just sayin, MY son ain't going to school with a backpack the price of two Perodua Axia. At that age, I wore a spongebob backpack, a bit like this one with the face and all. You want a car priced bag, you get your own XD.

To be honest, this news is just a funny post I saw on twitter and wanted to share here/

  1. Fake or real, it shows that the parents are ignorant about safety or about the world happening around them.

    1. True though, being ignorant about these things could be dangerous. A fashion statement isn't worth a life.
